Most of us get ‘peckish’ at some point in the day, and if you’re sure that it’s true stomach hunger (and not just head hunger – see my how to beat food cravings as well as how to stop over eating blog posts for that!) then a healthy snack is just what you’ll need.
Check out my top ideas below on what you can munch on/prepare in advance.. the key is to combine protein (e.g. peanut butter) with produce (e.g. an apple.. fresh, natural & fibrous foods) to help you to feel energised and fuller for longer :)!

My favourite go to snacks are garbanzo dry roasted chick peas. They are only 88 calories per 65g and they last so long. They come in 3 tasty flavours and have protein, are low fat and low sugar as well as just a trace of sodium. They are my favourite snack 🙂
Thanks for your great suggestion Alyssa! Have you tried roasting your own?! I have a recipe on here and they are delicious – you can make them in as many flavours as you like! xx
I love this, thank you. Although I tend to be pretty healthy, snacking can often be my downfall! Looking forward to my Frank’s bars arriving and I’m definitely going to try the pancakes and hummus recipes.
Great job hun, keep it up

My snack is a handful of grapes with tinned peaches and quark – loving quark at the moment and I’ve found a lemon flavoured one that I must try out!
I’m going to try your No Bake Pumpkin bites, I have a can in the cupboard that probably needs dusting off!
Ooh I love your snack! And do let me know how the bites go – I love them 🙂 It’s funny you should mention the lemon quark – I have a review on it next week along with some tasty recipes!! Nic 🙂
Where can I find the garbanzo ? :O
Hey! You get chick-peas from the supermarket (tinned section!) Nic x
