This week I had a special delivery.. a Hello Fresh delivery! Hello Fresh are an amazing new company who 1) create super tasty healthy recipes (by a rather nice looking chef!) 2) go shopping for you 3) deliver you the food for free and 4) allow you to cook up perfect gourmet evening meals in 30 minutes or less AT HOME! You can choose from the classic box (dishes with meat and fish) or the veggie box, with the exact ingredients for either 2, 4 or 6 people. I’ve been cooking this week for friends and loved having the convenience of the boxes – it meant that a) we weren’t tempted to order a take-out b) I didn’t get stressed out about what the finished product would taste like and c) my friends now think I’m a super cook 😉 Seriously though, my friends thought it tasted like ‘restaurant food’ and we thought that it’s such a fab service for busy people who still want tasty, healthy food and for those special occasions when you’re entertaining friends, family or even a date (!) – I won’t tell if you don’t!

Each delivery is packed with a selection of fresh, high quality ingredients along with recipe cards – there’s a picture on the front of what the recipe will look like (so no surprises), an ingredients list (with all the items already measured out for you) and step-by-step instructions on the back, which actually makes cooking pleasurable.

The meals pictured are (from top to bottom): Lebanese Lamb Wraps with Minted Tzatziki and Toasted Almonds, Potent Pan-Fried Salmon with Linguine and Homemade Pesto, and Teriyaki Chicken with Coco-Nutty Rice and Bok Choi.. yum! And they all come complete with full nutrition stats.. calories, carbs, protein and fat – very handy!
