If you’ve read my Tefal Infiny Press Revolution Review then you’ll know that a juicer is the latest gadget to enter my kitchen.. and what more appropriate recipe to post that two green juice recipes!
Juicing involves extracting most of the water from fruits and vegetables, along with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants whilst leaving the fibre (pulp) behind. Juices are a great way of giving your body a nutrient boost, and without the fibre you can pack more fruit and veg into a single serving. Juicing involves whole foods, aka foods that have been processed or refined as little as possible and are free from additives or other artificial substances. Using whole foods means that the end result is a super healthy drink free from added sugars, salt and other hidden nasties!
These two green juice recipes combine both vegetables and fruit meaning that they taste amazing as well as being super nutritious – they’re packed with vitamin A, B, C, E and K as well as iron (thanks to the leafy greens!). The pulp also taste great when combined with some cream cheese for a delicious creamy vegetable spread (I hate waste!).
