The Nano-b Toothbrush Review

The Nano-b Toothbrush Review

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while then you will know that I have a passion for dental health and good looking teeth (after all, it’s what you use to eat with!).

So far, I’ve written blogs post around how to keep your teeth healthy and white, what to eat after wisdom teeth removal and what to eat with clear braces.. today though I wanted to let you in on something that I have been using several times times a day (well 2-3 times to be exact!) along side my usual dental routine.. it’s a (good looking) portable tooth brush that automatically and naturally kills bacteria in-between brushing!

Introducing the Nano-b.. a very reasonably priced (you’ll be pleased to hear!) toothbrush that has unique antibacterial properties: While ordinary toothbrushes may harbour bacteria (yuk, you can read more about that [here]), the Nano-b toothbrushes uses gold and silver ‘nanoparticles’ to kill bacteria and remain clean and safe for your health.

I still brush with my electric toothbrush after breakfast and before bed but use my Nano-b (I have the clear and pink ones!) when out and about – I keep one at work and one in my bag. I usually brush after lunch, after some snacks and my evening meal (this is a must for me with braces). As well as keeping my teeth clean and free from food debris, brushing also help me to stop picking at office biscuits (most of the time ;))!

Want to know more? Well, the Nano-b Charcoal and Gold toothbrush uses the natural teeth whitening properties of bamboo charcoal, so it’s ideal if you who want home teeth whitening, and both the Nano-b Charcoal and Gold as well as Nano-b Silver kill up to 99.99% of all bacteria that try to get on your toothbrush. Regarding the science part, silver and gold particles release negatively charged ions that penetrate bacterial cells, suppressing the cell’s respiration and metabolism. This kills bacteria and prevents further bacteria growth (or so I am told!)!

The toothbrushes (pictured below) have double-layered bristles to clean plaque effectively to give you a healthy smile:

  • The long, thin bristles clean hard to reach areas such as between the teeth, a bit like flossing.
  • The short, oval bristles gently polish the surface of the teeth and the rounded edges of the short bristles are very gentle to the mouth (perfect for people suffering from sensitive teeth and bleeding gums).

One of the reasons why I use the Nano-b toothbrushes (and have chosen to review them for you!) is that they come in their own clear, travel-friendly toothbrush case.. I swiftly threw away my other manual toothbrushes that I had been keeping in my makeup bag!!

Nano-b recently won a Beauty Shortlist Award in the category “Best Health Breakthrough” (well done!!) and you can buy the Nano-b from their website.
