My Favourite Healthy Teas

My Favourite Healthy Teas

Being British I LOVE my tea and if you follow me on social media then you’ll probably know that! A few of you have asked me for my favourite teas so I thought I would film a video showing you.. I’ve divided up the teas that I personally drink into three different types:

  • Herbal & Caffeine-Free Teas
  • Black Teas
  • Green Teas

I drink tea throughout the day as it’s a tasty, low calorie way of keeping hydrated and tea also contains polyphenols which are a source of antioxidants to keep us healthy. My cupboards are literally bursting with different teas however I do like to save the black teas for when I need a bit of a ‘caffeine boost’! Green tea is by far my favourite as you can probably tell from the number that I love!

P.S. I filmed this video before this UK “Heat Wave” that we seem to be having.. I still have my nettle tea hot in a morning plus the odd cup throughout the day but I’m mainly drinking iced-tea – simply brew the tea, add a little honey/stevia then mix with cool water & store in the fridge until serving with ice! Enjoy :).

Higher Living! Never tried their Green Tea Chai, but their Sweet Chai is my all time favourite tea! Where do you buy yours from? Everyone that used to stock their products around here discontinued it. I’m so disappoined. 🙁

Hi Nic thank you so much for this blog. There are so many teas available and it can be hit and miss avoiding ones that disappoint. I had heard green tea was good for you but had tried it on its own and did not like. However since your blog I have bought the mango one and the green tea chai and love them both.

Hi Nic!!! You are so inspiring and informative. Thank you for teaching me things that have really benefited my lifestyle. I just wanted to ask, what did you study to become a dietitian and where did you study at?
